Onkyo’s latest mini-HiFi system, the X-NX10A, might look pretty mainstream (although that color LCD is on the large size), but its demure appearance hides a few pleasantly up-to-date features.
For a start, there’s an 80GB hard-drive that you can rip CDs to or, via a USB port, copy across your existing digital music files. An ethernet port also allows the HiFi to look up track and artist information online, or download (non-DRM) tracks directly.

Britain Broadcasts Its First Live TV Commercial
The UK tv station Channel 4 have broadcast an ambitious advert by Honda which shows a group of 19 professional skydivers spelling out the company’s name live from the skies above Spain.
The team had just three minutes and 20 seconds to execute the advert and managed to do it without a hitch.
The advert itself is pretty uneventful but it was the first live television advert to be broadcast in Britain.
Angelina Jolie Gives Birth In France
Several French press outlets have reported that 32 year old Angelina Jolie has given birth to her twins at a Catholic clinic in Aix-en-Provence. Partner Brad Pitt, 44, was reportedly present for the delivery.
According to the news reports, the babies were born on Sunday, May 25th. Jolie wanted the children to be born in France because that is where her late mother Marcheline Bertrand was born.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Reuters) - A couple has been arrested in what Canadian police said on Tuesday was an apparent offer to sell a seven-day-old baby girl on Craigslist for C$10,000 ($10,100).
A woman who saw the offer on the popular website alerted police who tracked down the 23-year-old mother and 26-year-old father using a cell phone number that was listed in the advertisement.

Driver Mounts Cop Car After Getting A Ticket
A man who had been pulled over and ticketed by police ran backward up and onto a Buffalo Grove squad car, apparently in his haste to drive off.
Henry Raskin, 70, of Niles had been pulled over by a Buffalo Grove officer for driving at 58 mph in a 35 mph zone, Sgt. Scott Kristiansen said.
The officer wrote the ticket and returned to the car, and Raskin got ready to drive away. Except he went flying backward.
