Racism Most Certainly Existed in Star Trek

Trek

Perhaps nothing ever matched the racism of shows like All in the Family, but if you look back on 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s television you’ll find that tons of shows had what today would be considered racist elements.

And the trekkies were nothing short of their ignorance either.

That second clip was not racist. In fact, it was anti racism. Describing how foolish todays views of racism are.

I hate people like you who call attention to something that on the surface seems racist but anyone with brains can see is an enlightened view on race.

What nonsense. All in the Family and Star Trek led the field in exposing the evil and stupidity of racism through the genres of humour and science fiction. You have completely missed the point of these clips. They may be dated and a bit ham handed but not racist.

Only a dumbass could quote mine Star Trek so bluntly. This article is a complete swing and a miss. The author has the nerve to call Trekkies ignorant for understanding allegory and fails hard for it.

The tard who autored this piece will probably also mistake network TV’s first interacial kiss between Kirk and Uhura as workplace sexual harrassment between the “Massa” and his little Aunt Jemimah.

Got something to say?
