$3m Golden Statue of Kate Moss
A solid gold statue of supermodel Kate Moss worth £1.5 million ($3m) was being unveiled in the British Museum yesterday.
The 50kg statue will be displayed in the Nereid Gallery of the British Museum, alongside other statues such as Crouching Venus, a Hellenistic model of Venus surprised while bathing.

Paparazzi Tipped Cops On Locklear’s DUI
A photographer who called 911 to report Heather Locklear allegedly driving erratically runs a paparazzi agency and profited from images she took of the actress’s subsequent arrest, the woman’s attorney said Wednesday.
But Nicholas Tepper, who represents photographer Jill Ishkanian, said in a written statement Wednesday that her phone call to authorities was motivated by “civic duty” and a concern for Locklear’s safety.

Forbes magazine released a list today of the most overpaid actors.
Maybe the studios should just man up, and put all three of these people in the same movie and not try to hide how terrible it’s going to be.
1. Nicole Kidman - For every dollar she was paid, her movies averaged $1 of gross income.
2. Jennifer Garner - For every dollar she was paid, her movies averaged $3.60 of gross income.
3. Tom Cruise - For every dollar he was paid, her movies averaged $4 of gross income.
Shameless Product Placements in Movies
We understand why movies have product placement. How are studios supposed to make money? You know, other than from ticket sales and DVDs. And merchandising.
The point is, if they have to show a Pepsi label now and then so Will Smith can keep the heat on in his home, we’re fine with that.

HMV launching MP3 store later this month
HMV will later this month launch its own iTunes competitor, an MP3 store and streaming music service, said CEO Simon Fox.
The download store will replace HMV’s existing store, which sells DRM-protected WMA files, the new store will offer music in the MP3 format, which appears to be at last being adopted by most major labels, including Universal.
